Florence I. Beatty

Photo: Obituary: Florence I. Beatty, 84 of Garrettsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Kensington Care Center in Aurora. She was born August 28, 1927 to Henry and Florence (Thomas) Paddock in Southampton, England where she met and eventually married her husband, James E. Beatty during WWII. Florence was a secretary at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She cherished traveling abroad and visiting her hometown of Southampton, England. Florence also enjoyed gardening, knitting and spending time with her beloved family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Larry J. (Coletta) and Robert H. all of Garrettsville and Jill M. (Ron) Conard of Rootstown; brother George and sister Dorothy of Southampton, England; sisters-in-law Dr. Ruth Craddock of Kentucky and Janet Beatty of Florida; grandchildren Richard and Michael and four great-grandchildren. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, son Scott A., grandson Ryan, and several siblings. Cremation has taken place and private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
