Service Details: Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 11 AM at the funeral home, with visitation at 10 AM. Photo: Obituary: Florence M. (Marge) Conley went to God on Friday, June 8. She is survived by son Dale; son-in-law Ron; grandsons Ron (Lauren) and Quinn (Tina); granddaughters Erin (Chris) and Shioban; great-grandchildren Cameron, Corrine, Lindsay, Leann, Lauren, Katherine, Quinn, and Rayn; siblings Bob, Roy and Jacqueline. She was preceded by her husband Arnold, daughter Suzanne, son Doyle, granddaughter Amy, parents Walter and Florence Bell Fricker, and brother Walter. Florence was a homemaker, bookkeeper, seamstress, commercial sewer and artist. She and her husband were founding members of the Society for Handicapped Citizens of Medina County (Achievement Center/Windfall Industries) and accomplished much for the SHC: education, work programs, independent living, forming mother’s club and development and construction of Camp Paradise. She devoted most of her life to the acceptance, education, and integration of the mentally challenged into society. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Hobbies were restoring furniture, crossword puzzles, reading, and garage sales.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 5 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Home, 3477 Medina (corner of Rt. 18 and River Styx), Ohio 44256. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 11 AM at the funeral home, with visitation at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Poe Cemetery in Montville Twp.
