Frances Louise (Kummer) Anderson, 96, of Ft. Wright, Ky, passed away on September 20, 2015. She was born on May 31, 1919 in Uhrichsville, Ohio to Louis and Leila (Parks) Kummer.
“Louise” as she was known by everyone, during WW II, volunteered with the USO, where she met and married Alfred Dee Anderson (of Youngstown, OH) on January 4, 1947. Louise & Alfred moved around a lot living in: Youngstown, OH; Lakewood, OH; Brookpark, OH; Hiram, OH (1962-1965); Frostburg, MD; Hudson, OH; and finally in New Waterford, OH. They loved Hiram so much, that they decided to be buried there.
After Alfred died on March 31, 2005, she was moved to Atria Highlands Senior Living Center in Ft. Wright, KY; where she could be closer to Alfred’s cousin, Dr. Frank “Mickey” Little; who died on May 13, 2015.
Louise will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her nephews: Barry Harbison (N. Ridgeville, OH) and Philip Harbison (Parma Hts., OH); as well as her very special friends, Mary Jo Bowman & her son Brian; Ute Stewart ; and all her care givers at Atria & in Ft. Wright, KY.
There will be a private inurnment at Fairview Cemetery, Hiram, OH.
