FRANCIS MILLER

Francis Miller, 73, of Garrettsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. He was born April 14, 1938 in Leavittsburg, Ohio to William and Elizabeth (Schwartz) Miller.

Francis was manager of the meat department at Sparkle Market in Champion from where he retired in 2001. He loved spending quality time with his family and friends. He coached baseball with his grandchildren and enjoyed gardening, golfing, bowling, traveling, cruises and fishing.

Francis is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Whitney) Miller of Garrettsville, whom he married June 21, 1959; in-laws Rose and Bud Whitney of Garrettsville; children Kim (Dennis) McIntosh of Freedom, Jeff (Karen) Miller and Ryan (Kristine) Miller all of Garrettsville and Matthew Francis (Brenda) Miller of Ravenna, 15 brothers and sisters and grandchildren Jarrid McIntosh of Athens, OH, Cara Miller of Akron, Briana Miller of Ravenna, Whitney Miller of Garrettsville, Seth Francis Miller of Ravenna, Marcus Miller and Derek Francis Miller both of Garrettsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Calling hours are 5-7 PM on Friday, April 13, 2012 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231 where funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 7 PM with Rev. Dr. Jim Melick officiating.
