FRANCIS J. WILLE, JR.

Francis J. Wille, Jr. 82 of Medina, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011. He was born January 31, 1929 in Freeport, New York to Francis and Elsie (nee Patterson) Wille.
Mr. Wille was a United States Army Veteran. He retired as a Chemical Engineer from Monsanto and also was the owner of Applications Dynamics. Francis was past Commodore of St. Louis US Power Squadron N., and member of The Nation Chemical Society and Richards Yacht Association. He was an avid woodworker, bird watcher, gardener, enjoyed his cats and was a devoted husband, who loved his family and devoted his time as a volunteer Fire Fighter in Freeport, New York.
Francis is survived by his wife of 56 years Janet (nee Grutzner), they married on July 28, 1954, sons; Carl (wife Debbie) of Amherst and Tom (wife Cecilia) of Henderson, N.C., grandchildren; Justin, Brandon, Kevin, Johnna Nicole, Katrina, Patricia, great-grandchild Liam and his brother Paul Yager of New Bern, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 2 to 4 PM at Carlson Funeral Home 3477 Medina Road Medina, Ohio 44256 with Funeral Service to follow at 4 PM with Rev. Randy Arehart officiating. Inurnment at a later date in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
Family suggest memorials may be made to Granger Township Fire Dept. 3737 Ridge Rd. Medina, Ohio or Hospice of Medina County 797 N. Court St. Medina, Ohio 44256.
