FRANK ELTON KUNKEL

Frank Elton Kunkel, age 82, of Brunswick, passed away on September 23, 2018. He was born on August 7, 1936 in Cumberland, TN to the late William and Nancy (nee Smith) Kunkel.
Frank was a skilled handyman who helped everybody in the neighborhood. He enjoyed woodworking and even made porch swings for several neighbors. Frank was an avid reader; he was especially fond of history. He was a foundry worker who retired from Ford Motor Co. after 33yrs. and was a member of Faith Baptist Temple in North Ridgeville.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Ruby (nee Norris); daughters, Terry Burns (Bob Burns), Kimberly (Gary) Derikito; grandchildren, Jason (Tracy), Daniel, Shelby, Alex; great-grandchildren, Addison, Carleigh; and sisters, Mildred Riggs and Nanny Charkas.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Calvin Morgan and John Alfred Kunkel.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick.
