FRANK D POLAND SR

On September 10, 2023, Frank D. Poland Sr., 78, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully. Frank was born on March 9, 1945, to John and Mary Poland in Washington, PA.

Frank is survived by his children, Frank Poland Jr. (Deborah), Jessica Kaczynski and Nicholas Poland. He will forever be remembered by his Grandchildren, Jenna Kaczynski, Christopher Kaczynski, Jeff Lang, and Sarah Lang-Crites (Shawn); and his sister Darlene (Jerry) Ashie, as well and many nieces and nephews.

Frank was predeceased by his parents; brother, John Poland; and sister, Peggy Medlen.

Frank was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched. His family hopes he is riding his dream Harley, watching his Steelers and going to flea markets to collect antiques.

The family would like to thank the staff of both Willowood Care Center and Harmony Hospice for their care of Frank.

The Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Carlson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1642 Pearl Rd. (1/2 mile south of Route 303), Brunswick, Ohio with a memorial service to follow at 6pm. The family requests that you wear your favorite football gear (even if you root for a different team, he loved the friendly competition) or Harley clothes.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made in Frank’s name to the Medina County Home, 6144 Wedgewood Rd, Medina, OH 44256.
