Frank L. Seitz Jr., age 65, of Elyria, passed away surrounded by his loving family March 20, 2017. He was born May 29, 1951 in Cleveland, to the late Frank Sr. and Geraldine (nee Kellar) Seitz.
Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army. Frank retired as a tool and die maker from General Motors. Frank lived a humbled, hard working life. His joy was seeing all his family gathered together. He was the watcher, the thinker, the photographer and a great provider. He also enjoyed computers and collecting eagle keepsakes. He always had wisdom and advice for his family and would often tell them, "It's a step at a time, one day at a time." He will be fondly remembered for late night chats and random text messages, especially during big Ohio sporting events. Frank’s unconditional love will be cherished, and he will be admired as a role model and best friend.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Ava; children, Mindy Sharp (Alan Acres), Wayne (Nina), Leah (Chris) Scobee, Frank III (Michelle), Bobby (Stephanie), Lisa (Charles) Fisher, Theresa (Ryan) Angus, Michael (Maureen); seventeen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Shirley (Ed) Powers; brother-in-law, Bud Thomas; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Bonnie Thomas.
