FRANK SEKANIC

Frank Sekanic, 74, of Middleburg Heights passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday morning April 7, 2024. He was born in Croatia on February 11, 1950, to the late Franjo and Fanika (nee Sabocanec) Sekanic.

Our beloved husband, dad and grandpa was an avid hunter, loved camping and fishing and spending time in the outdoors. Frank was an excellent cook, and loved spending time with his family and friends, particularly the yearly cabin trip to Hocking Hills. He didn’t know a stranger. Frank was always willing to go out of his way to help anyone who needed it. He will be deeply missed by his family and those who called him a friend.

Left behind to miss him so greatly are the love of his life, his wife of 54 years, AnneMarie; loving daughters, Michele (Devon) Alexander and Suzanne Zappola; granddaughters, Addison Zappola and Norah Alexander; brothers, Matt Sekanic and Steve (Maggie) Sekanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to thank Cleveland Clinic Hospice for the wonderful care Frank received.
