FRANK R. SOLTIS

Frank R. Soltis, age 83, of Strongsville, passed away September 28, 2016. He was born April 19, 1933 in Parkman, Ohio.
Frank loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson. He also enjoyed traveling and visiting family in West Virginia. Frank was a hardworking man his entire life, including a part time position at Lowes-Strongsville after his retirement. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Moravia “Lynn” (nee Chafin); children, Mark (Carol), Brian, and Michelle Soltis; and grandson, Kenneth Jordan McCracken. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth (Barbara) Soltis; and sister, Barbara Vinez.
He was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter, Briana Lynn Soltis; parents, Frank Jr. and Julia (nee Kral) Soltis; and sister, Jeanette Cancillieri.
Friends may join the family for visitation Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 3, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12700 Pearl Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment to follow at Strongsville Cemetery.
