Freda Rowe (nee Richmond), 90 of Vermilion went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Kingston of Vermilion. She was born April 6, 1921 in McAlphin, WV to Sona Seco and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brunswick.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to church, flower gardening, sewing and cooking.
Freda is survived by her loving sons Bill (Linda), of Vermilion and Paul (Nola) of Medina; grandchildren Keith Rowe of Sullivan, Penney (Curt) Cecil of Brooklyn Heights, Bruce Rowe (Amanda Collins-companion) of Nebraska, Debbie (Gary) McGinnis of Amherst, Heather (Michael) Pease of Vermillion, Christi Watts of Medina, Laura (John) Bevier of Medina, Daniel (Angela) Watts of Columbus and James Watts of Rittman and 16 great grandchildren; brothers William (Mildred) Seco of Glen Morgan, WV and Ronald Ray (Louise) Seco of Copper Hill, VA.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Sr. of 69 years, son Lewis Jr. and her mother.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis L. Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
