FREDERICK D. HATCH

Frederick D. Hatch, 95, of Medina, made his transition on Monday, March 16, 2020. He was born January 10, 1925, in Conneaut, Ohio, to the late Daniel and Ufa (Pursley) Hatch.

Fred proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He brought comfort to many as a Hospice volunteer. Fred worked in the insurance business for over 60 years. He was a friend to everyone he met. Fred found his church, Unity of Medina, an Oasis of Love.

Fred will be deeply missed by his loving wife Betty (nee Bromeier), with whom he was blessed to share 42 years of marriage; children, Connie (Marty), Chris (Tom), Fred T (Maureen), Cynthia, and Sarah (Jon). Stepfather to Douglas (Laura). Grandfather to 16. Great-grandfather to 12.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Bud and Duane, grandson Sean, and son-in-law Gale.

Honoring Fred's wishes, cremation has taken place. His funeral at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery and Celebration of Life will be held in late spring. Memorial information can be found at carlsonfuneralhomes.com
