Garald "Doug" Lougheed, age 76, of Medina, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022. He was born on August 3, 1946, at Montpelier to Garald and Wanda (nee Salsbury) Lougheed.
He loved to make people laugh, always making jokes. Doug enjoyed music, he played the organ and the drums. His passion was serving the older adults as a nursing home administrator. Most of all, Doug loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Doug will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 24 years, Deborah; his daughter, Wendy (Tom) Lempner; step sons, Clay Muhlenkamp and Jay Muhlenkamp; grandchildren, Brett, Bryn, Drew, Riley, Cali, Case, Micah, Cameron, Landon, and Nolan; and his fur baby, Charlie.
In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacey Berg.
Per Doug's wishes cremation has taken place. All services are private and have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Medina.
