He was born March 23, 1932 in Adrian, West Virginia to Lloyd and Hazel (nee Shipman) Black. He loved motorcycles and tattoos, and was a member of the Bros Motorcycle Club. Blackie is survived by his devoted wife Rita (nee Hunter); loving children Timothy (Shelly), Edward (Dana), Ronald, and Tina, sisters Naomi Spears, Carol Sue Tolliver, Iola, Luccille Louden, and Dee Dee, and grandchildren Amanda, Joshua, Chelsea, Annaliese, James and Ethan. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Emmett, Roger, Thomas and Zane. Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a service following at 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Graveside service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at a later date.
