Gary R. Johnson, age 57, of Brunswick, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Holy Family Hospice, Parma, following a lengthy illness.
Gary was born on July 13, 1962 in Berea to the late James Johnson and Janet L. (nee Mazza) Umpleby.
He was a graduate of Brunswick High School in 1980.
Gary enjoyed all sports, especially football.
Gary is survived by his loving mother, Janet L. (Stan) Umpleby; beloved children, Jake and Nick Johnson; dear siblings, Lee Johnson, Terry (Scott) Mascioli, Tracey Batchelder and Doug Umpleby.
Private funeral arrangements for Gary were entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
