GEORGE M. CONROY

George M. Conroy, age 74, of Brunswick, passed away April 5, 2016. He was born August 26, 1941 in Greensboro, North Carolina to the late George E. and Naomi (nee Darmstadt) Conroy.

George grew up in Cleveland and Bay Village, Ohio. He attended St. Ignatius High School and John Carroll University. George’s favorite pastimes included golf, baseball, playing guitar, and anything outdoors. He will always be fondly remembered for his “Georgisms”. He enjoyed the little things in life and at each encounter with anything, he always considered it to be "The Best".

He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Cathy; children, Dan Lashley, Tracie (Jerry) Stitle; brother, Dave (Beth) Conroy, sister, MaryCarol Conroy; and grandchildren, Lauren and Landon.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 5 to 8 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10:00 am at Strongsville United Methodist Church, 13500 Royalton Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Pastor Christopher Liberati will be officiating. Interment to follow at Hope Memorial Gardens in Hinckley.
