George L. Nicolaus, II, 64, of Garrettsville, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 in the comfort of his home, with his loving wife and cats by his side. He was born January 20, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio to George and Geraldine (nee Chilson) Nicolaus.
He was employed by Great Lakes Cheese Company for the last 24 years. In his free time, he enjoyed building cars and was proud of his Rat Rod. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycles, yard work, and tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. Most importantly, George loved his family, his wife, and his cats. He would literally do anything for anyone, no questions asked! He was truly one of a kind.
George will be deeply and sadly missed by his devoted wife, Debbie; adoring mother, Geraldine (Ken) Puffer; step daughter, Dana (Timothy) Turner; step grandchildren, Kyla and Timmy Turner; brother and friend, Jeff (Linda) Nicolaus; sister, Victoria Nicolaus; his cats, Mommy (George's girlfriend), Fleabag, Monk, Bad Baby, Bad Mommy, Dude, Gray Face, Blondie, Blackie, Grey, Black Face, Punker, Little Black, Hissy, and Sox, all whom he loved so dearly.
He is preceded in death by his father and first wife, Grace.
Please join the family for Visitation to honor George on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 12 PM to 2 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 8382 Center Street, Garrettsville, Ohio, 44231. A Funeral Service will begin at 2 PM, with a Graveside Service to immediately follow at Park Cemetery. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
