George Thorne, age 76, of Brunswick passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Southwest General Brunswick Emergency Room. He was born December 12, 1943 in Berwick, Pennsylvania.
George enjoyed bowling and golfing. He was a lifetime, independent truck driver. George proudly served his country in the US Army.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Peggyann (nee Snook); son, Russell (Karen) and sister, Lolita Bombay.
George was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Cathy.
Friends may join the family for visitation for George on Monday, November 23, 2020 from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services , 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick (1/2 mile south of Rt #303 and Pearl Road on the west side of the road). Facial coverings are required. Please observe recommended social distancing guidelines. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick with military honors.
