GEORGEEN FILLER

Georgeen Filler (nee Gorgan), age 82, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away on May 29, 2018. She was born January 10, 1936 in Cleveland, to Samuel and Letta (nee McMillan).

Georgeen enjoyed crafts, crocheting, sewing, camping and boating, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids, and great grandkids. Georgeen worked for many years at The Rustic Inn.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Robin (Jeffrey) Jamison, Jodi (Scott) Hofer, William Jr. (Lori), and Samuel; grandchildren, Jessica (Jim), Ben (Nicole), Rachel (Jeff), Megan, Grant, Kyle and Rebecca; great grandchildren, Quincy and Clark; and many nieces and nephews.

Georgeen was preceded in death by her beloved husband William “Bill”; siblings, Margaret Clayton, Lucille Williams, Clifford, and Albert.

Friends are welcome to join the family for a graveside service Saturday, June 2, 11 am, at Spring Grove Cemetery, 132 North Elmwood, Medina. A celebration of life will be held for Georgeen at a later date, with invitation by the family. The family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd., Medina, OH.
The family suggests donations be made in Georgeen’s name to the American Cancer Society.
