Gerald (Jerry) Nelson Steinbrick, age 83, of Parma, OH passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 29, 2022. He was born on December 9, 1938, to Clifford and Helen (nee Yuhan) Steinbrick.
He loved all things related to muscle cars and drag racing. Especially Pontiacs. He ran his own Pontiac restoration parts business for over 40 years. Throughout his life he owned many collectible classic cars that he was very proud of along with several drag racing cars, including a 1963 Pontiac Catalina named Warpath.
He was a lifelong member of the North Coast Pontiac Chapter of the Pontiac - Oakland Club International (POCI).
He loved telling stories about his "feathered" friend Mikey. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. He looked forward to the yearly Steinbrick reunions and talking about growing up with his three brothers.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Jim Steinbrick, Brian (Melissa) Steinbrick, Barb (Robert Maro) Steinbrick; grandchildren, Samantha (Zane) Cyphers, Theresa, Jake; and great-granddaughters, Mazikeen and Valkyrie.
In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his loving wife, Theresa Steinbrick; and brothers, Cliff, Skip, and Jack.
His family especially wants to thank Kathleen McDonald for being a special friend to him for the last nine years.
