Geraldine N. Miller, 74 of Windham, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012 at Akron City Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born November 10, 1937 to Harold and Viola (Thompson) Miller Sr.
Together with her husband, Charles, they owned and operated Miller’s Clothing & Footwear in Garrettsville for many years. She was a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America-Lake Erie Region and a former Cub Scout Leader. Geraldine enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafting, gardening and weekly lunches with her Windham classmates. She especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends.
Survivors include her children Kathy Miller of Newton Falls, David (Penny) Miller of Warren and Mary (David) Croft of Kent, brothers Harold (Sandy) Miller Jr. of Youngstown, Paul (Margaret) Miller of North Jackson, Allen (Helen) Miller of New Jersey and Ronald (Oveida) Miller of Georgia, grandson Matthew Croft and her many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles to whom she was married for 56 wonderful years.
Calling hours are 6-8 PM on Wednesday May 9, 2012 and 10-11 AM on Thursday, May 10th at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., PO Box 252, Garrettsville, OH 44231. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Windham Township Cemetery.
