Geza B. Molnar, 79, of Garrettsville, joined his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 21, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 11, 1942, in Hiram, Ohio to the late Geza and Ruth (nee Holbrook) Molnar.
He loved farming on the family farm and worked in the construction field for most of his life. Geza also worked for PMHA in Ravenna, before retiring. He loved hunting and fishing with his sons and sons-in-law. Geza could fix anything that was broken, making something new out of something old.
Geza will be deeply missed by his loving wife Alice (nee Pawlowski) with whom he was blessed to share 28 years of marriage; children, Bert Molnar of Southington, Janet (David) (nee Molnar) Schiopota of Aurora, Mary (Jeffrey) Fitch of Novelty, Sam Talameh (Katheryn McFadden) of Highland Heights, and Dr. Jasmine (Dr. Matthew) Luzum of Michigan; his greatest joys, his grandchildren, Claire, Lydia, Charlotte, Anne, Zinnia, Dahlia and Rebecca; and many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends all throughout the USA, Canada and Europe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Gloria (nee Berry), and infant daughter, Donna.
Please join the family for a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, May 28, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church 16150 Center Street, Parkman, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow with Fr. Jacob Bearer presiding. Inurnment will be at Harrington Cemetery, Nelson Township.
