Gladys Kemski, age 93, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. She was born on August 9, 1929, to the late Edward and Julia Wardick of Cleveland.
She was one of the original founders of St. Ambrose Catholic Parish. A member of the Eucharistic Ministries, Women’s Guild, Good Samaritan’s, Meals on Wheels and a lectern.
Gladys will be deeply missed by her loving children, Judy (Dave), Linda (Roy), Mary, Ken (Alicia), Bryan (Cathy), Richard (Kelly), and Mike (Lauren); grandchildren, John (Mandy), Christopher, Melissa (Evan), Brooke, Amanda, Sarah, Allison, Kaelyn, Conner, Jessica, Jordan (Joe), Richard, Austin, Erin, Kristen, and Breanna; and great grandchildren, Corbin, Thor, Indie, Macie, Maddox, Amaya, Alden, Melody, Everett, Aiden.
In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard; son, Mark; and brothers, Edward, and Art.
Please join the family for visitation on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd. (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 9:00 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick. Mass will follow visitation at 9:30 am. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, at 1:00 pm.
Donations in Gladys’s name will graciously be accepted to the charity of the donor’s choice.
