Glenn Borden, 87, passed away on April 29, 2020. He was born February 21, 1933, in Cleveland, OH to the late Alma (Borden) Gluth.
Glenn served his country in the military and was an Army veteran. He retired from Republic Steel, where he was an involved member of the steelworkers’ union while employed as a crane operator. Retirement did not slow Glenn down, he sold real estate in the Brunswick area, and then worked at Target in Medina. Glenn enjoyed watching all the Cleveland sports teams play, but he especially loved the Indians. He was a dog and cat lover, especially his sweet girl kitty, Sammi. Glenn was a family man who loved to spend time visiting, he enjoyed reading and was very quick-witted. His laugh, smile, and sarcastic nature will be truly missed.
Glenn was a loving husband to Joyce, who passed away in 2012; a caring father to Linda (Joseph) Burda, Laurie (Patrick) Baker, and Lisa (Heather) Borden-Bowers; a cherished grandfather to Tracie Baker, Michael Burda, Rachel (Jessie) Hammond, and Kaitlyn (Nicolas) Zevchek; and an adoring great grandfather to Alayna and Abigail Hammond.
Glenn's care and arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256.
