GLENN L. CRITES

Glenn L. Crites, 76 of Freedom Twp., passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at his residence. He was born September 19, 1937 in Cadiz, Ohio to Hayward H. and Helen D. (Sample) Crites. Glenn was a self-employed truck driver. He enjoyed farming and the annual family vacations to Canada. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his beloved family and friends.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Sara whom he married Sept. 20, 1957; his children, Randy (Beverly) Crites of Freedom, Cathy Cox of Newton Falls, Scott (Darla) Crites of Findlay, Mark Crites of Hudson, and Kelly (Steve) Hunter of Kentucky; brother, Jack Crites of Warren; sister, Gayla (Gary) Pittman of Ravenna; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling hours are 6-8 PM on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Saturday at the funeral home, with Rev. Fred Bell officiating. Burial will be at Drakesburg Cemetery, Freedom Twp. at a later date.
