Glenn Ferris Patsch, 96, born January 12, 1928 in Houston, Pennsylvania passed away on November 2, 2024 in Medina, Ohio.
He graduated from Pennsylvania Military College and later the University of Toledo with a Masters in Industrial Engineering. He honorably served as a First Lieutenant in the US Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Korea and Japan. After the war, he was employed for over 25 years by General Electric as an engineer and inventor before getting his law degree from Cleveland State University’s College of Law and starting his own law practice with an emphasis on probate and family law. He enjoyed traveling, especially in his Airstream trailer to the national parks, and photography, woodworking, eating ice cream, and spending time with his family. His favorite adventure was traveling with his wife and close friends in their Airstream trailers to Alaska through the Yukon in the early 1990’s.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Helen, his son, Glenn R. Patsch, daughter, Donna L. Studniarz (Joe), grandson, Joseph G. Studniarz (Emily), and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services are private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in his name, are requested to the National Parks Foundation.
