Gloria J. Heazlit, age 88, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on June 13, 2014. She was born on November 19, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio to Paul and Louise (nee Bruno) Scheman.
Gloria loved traveling, camping, gardening and caring for her pets.
She will be dearly missed by her children Donald (Mary), Sandy (Bob) Ernst, Laura (Bruce) Winterstein; grandchildren Theresa, Clint, Jeanette, Shawnna, Krissy, Brandon, Tawnya, Aaron; thirteen great-grandchildren and her dog Little Miss.
She was preceded in death by Donald, her loving husband of 67 years and ten siblings.
Friends may join the family to honor Gloria’s memory on Wednesday June 18, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a service to follow at 7:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
Gloria’s inurnment will be on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 1:45 PM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road Rittman, Ohio 44270. PLEASE MEET AT CEMETERY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SPCA, 245 South Medina Street, Medina, Ohio 44256.
