GLORIA JEAN WARD

Gloria Jean Ward, age 73, of Medina, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, July 29, 2024. She was born on September 28, 1950, in Lakewood, Ohio to the late Gordon and Geraldine Bly. 

She will be dearly missed by her children; James (Kristy) Ward, Amanda Ward (Dan Robinson) and Katie Ward (Terry Leidel); sister, Patricia (Dean) Kerr; brother, Robert (Mickey) Bly; grandchildren, Nico Ward, Isabel Ward, Kole Tracewell and Carter Leidel; and many other extended family members. 

Gloria surrounded herself with angels. These heavenly figures weren't just decor; they were her constant reminder that she had friends in high places.

Gloria loved collecting colorful and sparkling things. Dolls and her glass angels were the center of her collection. Her love of jewelry and fashion were ever present in her appearance. She loved a cute blouse and a nice pair of blue jeans, but never missed a chance to dress up. 

Crafting was another of Gloria's many talents. She could turn the simplest things into something special. Her handmade treasures were sprinkled with her touch, and she loved sharing her creations with everyone.

Gloria loved music, especially Elvis Presley. Music often filled her home, and she could be found listening or even singing along to great songs. 

Above all, Gloria adored her family and friends. She had a gift for making everyone feel special and cherished. She leaves behind countless good times and fond memories that will be treasured by all who knew her.

Please join the family for the visitation Friday, August 2, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. There will be a service starting at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jeff officiating, at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. Interment will follow at East Lawn Memory Gardens where Gloria will be laid to rest.
