Harry A. Graham, 70, of Garrettsville, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in Akron, OH. He was born on February 3, 1943 in Louisville, KY to William Graham and Mary Dorothy (Horsley) Hecker.
Harry was a retired Cleveland Police Officer where he served in the 6th District. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Harry enjoyed working on tractors and puttering around the yard and garage.
He is survived by his wife Margaret “ Peg “ (Coon); children Jeff (Becky) of Cuyahoga Falls, Tim (Jessica) of New York, and Lynn (Jay) Blewitt of Garrettsville; mother Mary Dorothy Hecker of Indiana; brothers John (Carolyn) Graham of Indiana, James (Connie) Hecker of California; grandchildren Tyler, Olivia, Seth, Will, Alex “A.J.”, Paige, Taryn, Jack, and Marlena; sisters-in-law Karen Graham and Marsha Hecker; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Harry was preceded in death by his brothers William Graham, Donald Hecker, and Thomas Hecker.
Friends may join the family for a memorial gathering on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home, 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, OH 44231. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow visitation at 7 P.M. on Thursday.
