Harry Frank Scripp, age 91, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on March 25, 2014. He was born on April 7, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio to Anton and Theodora Scripp.
He loved to go to the local V.F.W. and F.O.E. clubs with his buddies and attend Brunswick City Council meetings. He also enjoyed going to parades and frequenting Donut Land. He played accordion in a polka band, liked watching golf, and especially loved deer and bird watching. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved his family dearly.
He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Barbara (John) Rocha, Rosalie Marie (Patrick) Powers; grandchildren, Roseann (David) Smerek, Danielle (David) Rising, Melissa Powers, Dan Powers; great-grandchildren, Jason, Deseree, Adam, Alexis, Dominic, and Gavin.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Clara (nee Kusowski); brothers, Ed, Charles, Robert; sisters, Mary, Helen, and Gertrude.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00 am at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. Internment will be at Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
