Helen V. Straight (nee Steinmiller), age 86, of Brunswick, OH, passed away on January 14, 2014. She was the daughter of Wilbur and Lillian (nee Clark) Steinmiller. She was born on March 13, 1927 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who loved spending time with her family. Helen enjoyed reading, puzzles and crocheting.
Helen will be dearly missed by her children, Gerald (Linda) Straight Sr. and Penny Toptsidis; grandchildren, Michael Huff, Kimberly (Joseph) Vorell, George (Carla) Toptsidis, Gerald Straight, Jr., Belinda Straight; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Waneita Baysinger, Gerald (Nora) Anderson and Bernice Schuman.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dewey and her sister Sandra Black.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Westpark Cemetery, 3942 Ridge Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44144.
