Henry "Hank" Ciesielski, age 80, of Brunswick, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 21, 1941 in Toruń, Poland to the late Joseph and Valerie Ciesielski.
Hank was employed as a machinist in Railroad crossing and track splicing, track switcher and more.
He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Parish. Hank enjoyed raising and racing pigeons, freshwater fishing, flower and vegetable gardening, watching soccer and hockey, listening to 50 & 60's music, country music and polkas. In his 20's he was a DJ for the radio station WZAK. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Hank is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Krystyna (nee Kraszewska); dear sons, John and Richard (Anita Kerns) Ciesielski; cherished grandchildren, Andrew (Lindsey) Ciesielski, Adam Ciesielski, Heather (Joe) Collenette, Tawnya Ciesielski; loving great -grandchildren, Valerie, Cody, Adaya, Sienna and Beckett.
The family will receive friends for Hank on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 4-7 pm at the Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick (1/2 mile south of Route 303). Masks are required and social distancing rules will apply. Visitation will also take place on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 9 - 10 a.m in the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. mass at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark.
