HENRY L. SNIDER

Henry L. Snider, 84 of Medina, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2010. He was born May 22, 1926 in Cleveland to Henry Marcus and Anna (nee Gersye) Snider and was a metallurgist for General Motors in Parma and a United States Army veteran serving in WWII.

Mr. Snider enjoyed flying planes; traveling, especially driving; photography; and his retirement home in the mountains of Colorado.

He is survived by his wife Carol (nee Sheffield) Snider; sons David (Vicky) and Grant (Beth) Snider; daughter Diane (Bob) Costello; and grandchildren Mary, Ryan, Sean, and Erin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at a later date in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
