Howard Shahan

Photo: Obituary: Howard Shahan, 84 of Streetsboro, died Monday January 14 at Maplewood Care Center. He was born February 19, 1928 in Fellowsville, West Virginia to Carl and Louise (Schaefer) Shahan. He enjoyed shooting pool and hanging out with his buddies at the mall, playing slots, cards and spending time with his family and friends. Howard served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. Howard is survived by his children Janice (Larry) Roach of Garrettsville, David Shahan of North Carolina and Mike Shahan of Warren; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren: brothers, Larry (Joan) Shahan of Texas and Elwood. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Betty Lucille Shahan, whom he married on April 13, 1952; his parents and brother Francis. Friends may join the family for Visitation on Friday, January 18, 2013, from 11-12 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St. Garrettsville with Services at 12PM with Pastor Jody Hill officiating .Interment to follow at Park Cemetery, Garrettsville.
