HOWARD GEORGE WELLS JR

Howard George Wells Jr, age 78, of Parma Heights formerly of Lakewood, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022, after a long-time illness. He was born on June 24, 1944, in Cleveland to the late Howard and Elsie (Keller) Wells.
He proudly served in the US Air Force. Howard was an avid bowler, excellent golfer, and salesman. He always had a quick wit, never lacking for a joke or humorous story and looked forward to a Yahtzee game that has been ongoing for the past 20 years keeping the score of every game in a notebook. Howard lived a fun life, racing the streets in his 1970 Chevelle SS. He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.
Howard will be deeply missed by his son, Howard G Wells III; daughter-in law, Melissa Wells; granddaughter, Ashten Wells that fondly nicknamed "Grandpa Goofy"; son, Christopher Wells; granddaughter, Rachael Alley of North Carolina; twin brother, Richard G Wells; and numerous friends.
In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his grandson, Kory Schmidt; and sisters, Evelyn Rogge and Mildred Belton in Minnesota.
Per Howard's wishes cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Maine where all of his family is located. The Wells family has entrusted his care to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Brunswick.
