Irene Gano, 83, of Windham, joined her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. She was born June 25, 1937 in Springfield, Pennsylvania to the late Louis S. and Irene (nee Bessenyei) Centric.
Irene was a lifetime member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Windham. She had worked at Parker Hannifin for many years. Irene enjoyed mowing her yard (her John Deere “Bambi”), crossword puzzles, and traveling. She was a true Frank Sinatra buff, and loved all of his songs and movies.
Irene will be deeply missed by her loving children, Ron (Wendy) Hacker, Rich (Robyn) Gano, Teresa MacNaughton; grandchildren, Ron (Lacey) Hacker Jr., Brad Kowalski, and Jeremy (Michele) Wiseman; great grandchildren, Mercedes, Nicholas, Brookelyn, Tobey, Dylan, and Deegan; great great grandchild, Aston; brother, Robert “Max” Centric, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; children Donald MacNaughton and Eve Weaver; brothers, Jim Centric and Louis Centric.
Please join the family for a visitation on Sunday, February 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, Ohio. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 15 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church 9736 E. Center St. Windham Ohio. Please meet at church. Burial will follow in Windham Township Cemetery. Facial coverings are required. Please observe recommended social distancing guidelines.
