Irene A. Grasgreen, 89 of Medina passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Medina Village Retirement Community. She was born August 15, 1920 in Cleveland to Robert and Sarah (nee Blake) Cook.
She was employed at Kerr Lake Side, Inc. in Euclid, Ohio, enjoyed bridge, bowling, camping, and loved to travel.
Mrs. Grasgreen is survived by her children Robert (Cat) Grasgreen, Jackie (Rainer) Rohling, and Cheryl (John) Delehanty; brothers Robert (Cecilia) and John (Delores) Cook; sister Mary Wolf; grandchildren Jeremey, Kelly, Susan, Jackie, and Joe; and great-grandchildren Grace and Hunter.
She was preceded in death by her husband Julius and her parents.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
