Jack Cartellone age 73, resident of Medina, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the University Hospital in Cleveland. He was born on October 30, 1941 to Anthony and Anne (nee Koteles) in Bedford, Ohio. Jack and Shirley were married on Nov. 29, 2007.
He will be dearly missed by his wife; Shirley (Berila-McElroy) sons; Anthony (Susan) and Lee (Renee Tyler) Granddaughters; Kayla and Kristine step-daughter; Kimberly (Mark) Holman and their children; Thomas, James, Jacob, and Hannah, sister; Ruth Anne Smith also his many nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by parents.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM and Thursday, 10 to 11 AM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road
(corner of River Styx and Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio. Funeral Service will follow on Thursday at 11 AM with Fr. Thomas Kowatch officiating. Cremation to follow service. Contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
