JACK R. NOTT SR.
November 2, 1930 — June 20, 2014
Jack R. Nott Sr. 83, long-time resident of Brunswick, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Life Care Center of Medina. He was born on November 2, 1930 to Raymond and Lillian (nee Graham) Nott in Athens, Ohio.
He was the oldest of 12 children. Jack served in the United States Army and Air Force. He was a Welder by trade; employed 32 years at the General Motors Company. Jack and Betty (nee Graf) were married November 17, 1973. He enjoyed motorcycling and was interested in cars and gardening. Jack was a social member of Brunswick VFW and the Medina Moose Lodge.
He will forever be in the hearts of his beloved wife; children, John (Briana) Holcepl, Jack (Denise) Nott Jr., Jeff (Michelle) Nott, Cheryl (Rich) Bush; 14 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings.
Friends may join the family for Visitation on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (½ mile South of Route 303), Brunswick, Ohio. Funeral Service at 8 PM following Visitation. Rev. Steven Girard will officiate. Inurnment will take place on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. 10175 Rawiga Rd. Rittman at 9:30 AM (Please meet at the Cemetery entrance 15 minutes prior).
