Photo: Obituary: Jadie Nichols, 87, of Brunswick, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 with his loving family by his side. He was born April 9, 1925 in Clio West Virginia to Henry D and Maggie (nee Strickland) Nichols. Jadie was preceded by his loving wife Colaine (nee McLain) and siblings Okey, Leonard, Elmer, Noah and Georgia. Survived by daughter Dreama (Larry) Brant of Greenville, South Carolina; son David (Patricia) Nichols of Brunswick; sister Nora (Dennis) Martin of Piney View, West Virginia; brother Robert (Barbara) Nichols of Olena Ohio; grandchildren Bethany (Ron) Tucceri of Kingsport, Tennessee, Richard (Susan) Fischer of Greenville, South Carolina, Staci (Todd) Kreiser of Greenville, South Carolina, Dusty Lynn Nichols of Brunswick, Kelly Nichols of Brunswick; great grand-children Brady and Nathan Fischer. Jadie was a US Army Veteran who served in WWII, Pacific Theater, earned two bronze stars and the purple heart. He was a member of the UAW #1005, attended Polaris Christian Church, loved gardening, yard sales, flea markets, and his family most of all.
