Jadwiga Kotowicz, age 73 of Lodi, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Hospice of Medina County. She was born on August 14, 1942 to Boleslaw and Leokadia
(nee Witczak) Kozlowski in Turek, Poland. Jadwiga and Zdzislaw were married on May 18, 1963.
She was a devoted homemaker. Jadwiga enjoyed baking for her family and gardening.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter Elizabeth (Gregory) Paszt and son Mark (Marianne) and grandchildren; Ryan and Brent Paszt, also Timothy Casterline, siblings; Henry (Ewa) Kozlowski, Christine (Nick) Yanoff, Donna (Dennis) Adamski, Patricia (Doug) Barcroft and many nieces and nephews. Jadwiga was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 2 to 6 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18) Medina, Ohio 44256. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Francis Xavier Church 606 E. Washington St. Medina on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Prior visitation from 9 to 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial to follow Mass at St. Francis Cemetery.
