JAMES R. COOLEY

James R. Cooley, age 88, of Brunswick, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. He was born on April 11, 1933 in Mather, PA to the late Guy R. and Constance E. (nee Martin) Cooley.
He proudly served in the United States Army. Jim was a partner and CPA for Walthall & Drake Accounting firm and later was employed as a treasurer for Samsel Supply. In his spare time he loved golfing and reading, especially history. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by all.
Jim will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 63 years, Connie M. (nee Wilson) Cooley; his loving daughters, Constance (Jim) Poelking, Catherine (Steve) Brown, and Jennifer (Charlie) Kash; brother, Michael Cooley; cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Daniel, Michael, William, James, Matthew, Olivia, Scott, Maya and Tessa; great grandchildren, Ellie and Penny.
He was preceded in death by his dear son, Scott R. Cooley; brothers, Guy and John Cooley; and sister, Mary Ann Pilanski.
The family entrusted Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road,(1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick to handle the private arrangements.
