JAMES ANTHONY KOBAK

James Anthony Kobak, age 86, of Brunswick, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. He was born on December 15, 1934, at Cleveland, Ohio to Anthony and Eugenia (nee Miller) Kobak.

He was an office manager for IBM for 33 years. James loved to travel and paint; he was also a volunteer at the Rain Forest of the Cleveland Zoo. He was a member of St Ambrose Catholic Church in Brunswick.

James is survived by his children; Joseph (Elizabeth), Daniel (Andrea), Kate (Alan Joyce) Kobak; grandchildren, William and Isabella Kobak, Andrew, Steven and Renee Kobak, and Aldo and Oona Joyce; brothers, Richard (Rita) Kobak, Robert (Betty) Kobak; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Guyon.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Leatrice (Guyon) Kobak.

Friends may visit with James's family, Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd., (1/2 mile south of Route 303), Brunswick, Ohio. Facial coverings are suggested. Please observe recommended social distancing guidelines. A Mass of Christian Service will be held on October 1, 2021, at 10 AM in St. Ambrose Catholic Church 929 Pearl Road Brunswick, Ohio 44212. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City.
