James C. Neitzel Sr. 78, of Medina passed away on January 1, 2013 at his residence. He was born on April 19, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank and Florence Neitzel.
Jim was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from LTV as a millwright for 30 years.
Preceding Jim in death was his parents, daughter Ellen Marie and sister Rita George.
He will be missed by his beloved wife Carol; children, James C. Jr. (Connie Johnston), Debra, Mary Beth (Frank) Markim, Jerry (Denise), Theresa (Mark Meers), Ken (Jen); brother Frank (Cathy); 11 grandchildren; 5 great -grandchildren and his companion dogs, Elvis and Priscilla.
Inurnment with Military Honors will be celebrated at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd. Rittman, Ohio on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 10:30 AM (Please meet at the Cemetery Entrance 15 minutes prior.) Carlson Funeral Home 3477 Medina Road Medina was entrusted with arrangements for Jim.
