James Terry, age 83, of Brunswick, passed away August 4, 2016. He was born August 16, 1932 in Jamestown, Tennessee to the late Fred and Esta (nee Williams) Terry.
James proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from Goodyear after 37 years. James loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed baseball and casinos.
James will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Sophie; children, Mark (Lori) Terry, Greg Coughenour, Kevin Coughenour, Rita Coughenour, Laura (Jesse) Webb; grandchildren, Val, James, Tyler; great grandchild, Charlotte, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Leeta, Neva, LuLu; brothers, Lloyd and Henderson.
Friends may join the family for visitation Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. There will be a visitation one hour prior to Mass at 9:00 am. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Brunswick.
