Jane Elizabeth Gossett, 86, of Garrettsville, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna.
She was born September 7, 1927 in Brownsville, PA to the late Thomas and Lena (Kepnick) Chew.
She was employed at Black & Decker in the office and frontline. Jane liked playing cards, cooking for family dinners and was an avid Steelers fan. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Mary (Robert) Snyder of Arizona, Carl Gossett Jr. of Salem, Deborah Henry of PA, Laura (Richard) Cantale of Garrettsville; sisters, Jean Tassone of Garrettsville and Emma Kovachick of Twinsburg; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Henderson Gossett, her parents, brothers Willard and Thomas Chew and grandchild, Carlye Statler.
Private services will be held.
