JANET B. RISKO

Janet B. Risko (nee Guy), 90 of Brunswick went home to be with the Lord and savior, Jesus Christ on April 14, 2011. She was 90 years old, born July 10, 1920.

Mother worked at Strongs Farm, Farrohs Candies and Willow Wood Nursing Home. Our mother was kind, loving and had a tender heart towards all people. She loved to cook, especially homemade pierogies, stuffed cabbage and her many other outstanding dishes. Mothers baking will be forever missed. Her pies, breads and cakes were extra special. Mother loved to go to church, read her bible, and loved listening to Christian radio. She loved the Lord. Our mother was a woman of integrity and amazing love.
Everyone who knew her, loved her.

She is survived by her children Jeanette (Tim) Opdahl, Donna (Russ) Coyle, John Jr., Paul (Mary Jane) and Duane; brothers Stanley Guy, Eddie (Jenny) Guy; sisters Laura Lapp, Wanda Guy; grandchildren Jennifer (Matt) Ratajcsak, Pastor Clifford L (Vickey) Parks Jr, Jeffrey (Paula) Finley Jr., Deana (Patrick) Eldrige, Matthew (Nicole) Risko, Thea Bittenger, Patty (Jon) Nagy, Alison Risko, Elizabeth Risko, Nicholis and Jeniffer Miller, Sean and Jennifer Miller, Byron and Lindsey Sinclair; great grandchildren Pricella Parks, Jeffrey (Kim) Finley Jr. Gabrill Parks, Jonathan Finley, Regina (Shawn) Booth, Jared Finley, Nicholas Eldrige, Miranda Eldrige, Hailey Risko, Michael Bittenger , Amanda Bittenger, Justin Miller, Michael Miller, Caleb Miller, Ethan Miller, Bidget Miller, Corbin Miller, Darian Miller, Matty Miller, Tyson Sinclair, Kyle Sinclair.

She was preceded in death by her husband John and her sister Penny.

Friends may call on Sunday April 17, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Pastor Clifford L. Parks Jr. and Pastor Mark Valenti will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Brunswick.
