Jason Benjamin Barkfelt, age 36, of Brunswick, passed away suddenly on January 4, 2018. He was born on October 25, 1981, in Cleveland, Ohio. He is the beloved son of Howard, Jr. and Brenda Barkfelt (nee Feldt).
Jason was an avid guitar player who loved music. He especially loved his children and spending time with his family and friends.
He will be dearly missed by his parents; wife, Joann (nee Patten); son, Jaxson Barkfelt; step-sons, Austin Pannell and Aaron Supina; sister, Kristen (William) Diperna; grandparents, Ed and Betty Feldt; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard, Sr. and Sue Barkfelt.
Friends may join the family for calling hours on Saturday, January 13, 2018, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, with memorial service to follow, at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH, 44212.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jason’s memory to the charity of your choice.
