JEANETTE PAWLICKI BYRD
May 31, 1933 — May 15, 2022
Jeanette Pawlicki Byrd, 88, formerly of Brunswick, most recently of Regina HealthCare in Richfield, joined her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, May 15, 2022. She was born in Linndale, Ohio to the late John and Agata (nee Pykosz) Zajdek.
She was an entrepreneur, owning her own salon, Jeanette's Beauty Salon in Brunswick where you always felt you were among friends and family while getting your hair done. Jeanette worked at Millard's and Ricco's in Strongsville. She was a member of the Jane Addams Alumni, Polish National Alliance, Alzheimer's Foundation and was one of the original parishioners and supporters of St. Ambrose Church and a Past President of the St. Ambrose Women's Guild. Jeanette enjoyed ballroom dancing, gardening, and crafting. Her most joyous times were spent with her children, and grandchildren.
Jeanette will be deeply missed by her beloved children, Valerie (Ron) Snyder, Carol Bianchi, Diane (Stephen) Altier; grandchildren, Angie (Alex), Tony (Daniela), Luke, Tricia (Greg), Patrick and Stephanie; great-grandchild, Charlie; Step Mom of Kym (Dave) Lucas, Sam Byrd and Kristy, and grandmother to the Byrd and Snyder children; dear sister-in-law Clara Pallini, Eleanor Pawlicki and Sr. Florence Pawlicki HFN and aunt to many Pawlicki and Zajdek nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands Tony Pawlicki and Merlin Byrd; 5 siblings, in laws and stepson Andy.
Please join the family for a visitation to honour Jeanette on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile south of Rte 303) Brunswick, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 9:30 AM with visitation one hour prior at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish 929 Pear Road Brunswick, Ohio 44212. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
