JEANNE E WILEY

Jeanne E Wiley (nee:Doshak), age 78, of Medina OH, passed away peacefully with her husband, Ray at her side, Sunday, Aug 28, 2022. Jeanne was born on October 2, 1943, at Barberton, OH. to the late John and Catherine Doshak.

Jeanne graduated with a B.S. and Masters Degree in Education from the University of Akron. She began her teaching career and after 9 years joined Silver Burdett & Ginn Educational Publishers. Jeanne enjoyed a successful career, retiring as Marketing Manager for the Northeastern United States. Ray and Jeanne enjoyed traveling, having visited all 50 states and many European countries taking joy experiencing local customs, cuisines, and cultures.

She will be missed by her loving husband of 39 years, Ray Wiley. Brother, John Doshak and sons John (Kathi) and Matt (Wendy) and children. Sister, Kathy (Dave) Schmidt and their children, Tom (Jess), Jen (James) Williams and families. Daughter, Julie (Bob) Moore and family.

Friends may join the family for a visitation for Jeanne on Thursday, Sept 1, 2022 from 4 to 7 PM in Carlson Funeral Homes, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 and River Styx), Medina, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11:00 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E Washington St. in Medina. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E Waterloo Rd, in Akron.
